Homeowner Reminders
Any modifications to the exterior of your home require a modification request.
This includes your front or back yard — even minor changes like refreshing some landscaping with new plants, replacing a front door, or removing a feature in your yard. When in doubt, submit a request.
If homeowners skip this required step and make an unapproved change, you’ll receive a violation and will need to address the violation promptly.
Trash and Totes
Thanks for keeping your yards looking so wonderful. Please do not put any bagged yard waste at the curb until the night before trash day pickup.
As a reminder, all totes, trash and recycling items are required to be stored in an enclosure at all times. If you have an extra tote from the retired Chesterfield recycling program, you’ll need to contact the county or dispose of it through a bulk waste company.
Speed Limit = 25 mph
The speed limit is 25 mph throughout Oak Park. Please keep your eyes open for joggers, pedestrians, bicyclists and children playing in the streets.
